Vijay Mahajan is the President of Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN). Mr. Mahajan founded BASIX in 1996, a new generation financial institution that supports rural livelihoods in India. Mr. Mahajan is currently also the Principal Advisor on Livelihoods to the Government of Rajasthan and serves on the Board of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) as well as on the Boards of ASSEFA, Gram Vikas, and ARAVALI. Mr. Vasudevan has also served as Vice President and Business Head for Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Co. Ltd. Shubhankar Sengupta is a seasoned microfinance professional. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Presidency College, Kolkata and a post-graduate degree in rural management from IRMA. . Prior to starting Arohan, Shubhankar worked with BASIX, India’s leading livelihood promotion institution, for eight years. Starting from a field position, he grew rapidly through the ranks to a senior management position. Govind Singh is the promoter and MD & CEO of Utkarsh Micro Finance Pvt. Ltd. He is former Business Head of Micro banking at ICICI Bank. A banker for over 2 decades, he was previously the Business Head for Rural and Agri Liabilities, and the Trust, Societies, Associations, and Clubs (TASC) segments. He also has extensive experience with the Retail Liabilities group and Retail Infrastructure Group. He has worked previously with State Bank of Patiala, Surya Roshni group (Financial services), Bank International Indonesia, and Axis Bank. He was a member of the RBI's Working Group to Review the Business Correspondent Model. Mrs. Reddy is a post graduate in Business Administration with over 20 years of experience in Social Development, Microfinance and Entrepreneurship. She worked in an NGO and later in 1998, started her own entity ‘Spandana’. She pursued various trainings on Microfinance – all CGAP modules on Microfinance, a course on Microfinance at Naropa University, U.S.A, Credit and Micro Enterprise Development Training from Durham University Business School, U.K Market Research for Micro Finance at Uganda etc. Suresh K. Suresh K. Krishna is the MD of Grameen Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. He has been a Development Professional since 1997, gaining significant experience working in an NGO that focused on micro enterprise development, non-formal education and the promotion of women self-help groups. He founded small business enterprises in computer education, industrial safety products and consultation in local area networks in companies. He has been a part of educational courses through Grameen Bank, Bankakademie (Germany), IIM-Bangalore and Harvard Business School, USA. He is leading as Secretary in Association of Karnataka Microfinance Institutions (AKMI). Serves on the board of SADHAN as well.
